Uncompressed Episode 60
My Internet connection is still less than optimal, but it decided to hold out long enough for us to get a show in — with great sound quality, no less! With our Vista audio problems squarely behind us (we hope), Thom and I decided to sit down and have a chat about his new camcorder, games we played over the holidays, upcoming products from Apple, and the effects of piracy on the PC gaming market.
We still arent back into our “current events” type format, but hopefully we will get there soon — still trying to get all the rust off, and bring things back up to speed. I am hoping to restore some of our 3rd party feeds, and links to other sites, this week as well.

Technology
- Thom got a new HD camcorder for Christmas
- Rumors indicate an iPhone Nano, and iPod Touch Tablet may be in the works…
Gaming
- Speaking of the iPhone Tycho over at Penny Arcade discusses the difficulty of playing various games on the device
- Some recruiters are starting to wonder if WoW players have the right mindset for the workplace (link is to original forum post — apparently some other sources have reported the story incorrectly)
- Thom has been enjoying World of Goo — but it has been often referenced in the PC piracy debate
- We loved the original Crackdown and are still hoping a sequel finds its way into production
YouTube of the Week
For all of you box-opening fetishists here is a video of Thom opening a box — as recorded with the video camcorder discussed in the episode.
That about does it for this week. Hope you enjoy having us back! Questions/Comments should be sent to uncompressedshow@gmail.com

I forgot to put in the show notes that the opening music this week was by our own Sean Partridge. Sorry about that, dude!
