The only pain though, is the way HP tattoos thier motherboards and writes a DMA section to the hard drive -- makes it hard to replace parts with anything other than official HP stock. That all being said, HP/Compaq were also the easiest to repair in warranty, out of warranty, and under extended warranty. The part availibility was great from all of our vendors regarding HP parts, ordering direct from HP was always quick, and if you had a problem you just coundnt get worked out thier partner support for technicians was better than any other vendor.
