Yeah, I have the latest firmware and that didn't fix it. It's not a big problem, and it was actually a huge relief when I realized all I had to do was reset the iPod. I originally thought the charger had fried the battery.

Tyler, mine doesnt ALWAYS freak out -- but it does occasionally, and then the reset usually takes care of it. One thing to keep checking is that you have the newest firmware for your ipod. The ipod updater: http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/ is the program that will update it. However, each time they release new firmware you need to redownload the whole program. It seems like they release updates about every 6 months or so. I know they had a few nano updates in the last couple revisions.

Liquidcourage, thanks for the support! Thom is our website/art guy, so he should be able to take care of whatever you need. Just reply into this post, or drop us a line over at uncompressedshow@gmail.com

Good show, guys!

It was interesting what you said about the iPod issue. I have had a similar problem with the car charger that I bought for my iPod nano. If I plug it in, it charges fine, but it never turns off, and will run the battery down even without playing in about a day. The only way to fix it is to do a soft reset of the iPod right after I unplug it. Kindof annoying. It seems strange that the iPod would have so many problems with 3rd party charging. Hrmm.
