Halo 3 Trailer

Personally, I’m not as jazzed about Halo 3 compared to the previous titles in the series. The original Halo rocked, but despite the expanded multiplayer component, I found Halo 2 to be pretty boring…
The trailer that was released appears to be all CGI, so I guess we will have to wait to see what the actual game footage looks like — but I think that I might be skipping this one… anyone else excited?

I’m anti-halo for the sole reason that so many people thought it was a better game than Half-life 2. Don’t even get me started on that discussion, I’m still bitter.

I loved Halo:CE, loved Halo 2 more until I realized how bad they’d screwed me with the cut features and time wasting storyline. Incidentally, the trailer is NOT CGI. It’s the actual game engine. Or so they claim.
I’d be more excited if they hadn’t already made me think I was getting this storyline in the last game. We’ll see.

I loved Halo 1 — to a point.
I really disliked Halo 2.
Halo 1 was flawed. The Flood guys were more of a pain in the ass than fun to fight, and if it hadn’t been for co-op play, I probably wouldn’t have ever beaten the first game. Don’t get me wrong — I would have had a blast just playing the first half of the game over and over, but I just didn’t care for the Flood.
BUT despite the flaws, I have very found memories of the game. Co-op was a blast.
Now Halo 2 … I didn’t care about the Arbiter, and compared to playing online multiplayer games on the PC, Halo 2 on Xbox Live was not my cup of tea. I want to say “it sucked”, but the game does have a lot of fans, so it might just be me.
For me, the second Halo just didn’t have the ingredients that made the first game so awesome. I think a big part of it was that the environments were a lot more confining than the first game — in the first game it felt like you were on your own in this huge environment — and in the second game, I found a lot of the maps confining.

haha - At least I have enough balls to post under my own name there Anonymous. Grow a pair and tell us what makes Halo so superior.
