E3: Nintendo’s Press Conference
I caught a bit of Nintendo’s press conference today, and they showed off the Wii. The Wii looks very interesting.
27 games are supposedly going to be released along side the console when it comes out Q4 2006 and I think they’re all playable on the floor at E3.
Red Steel looks interesting, but some of the graphics were a little under-whelming. Mario Galaxy looks a bit different from Mario 64 / Mario Sunshine — which may not be a bad thing. Metroid looked like the Gamecube Metroid games. Zelda really stood out from the pack.

I can’t begin to guess how many lamps I’m going to break playing Wii Sports Tennis in my family room, but it looks fun.
On the DS front, there were a few new games announced. Of the games they showed, Diddy Kong Racing appealed to me the most. Yoshi’s Island 2 was announced.
