I will be looking into Oblivion … not sure my vid card is up to it tho :( http://www.elderscrolls.com/games/oblivion_overview.htm

I liked Farcry. I also liked the muti island mission with the comm towers. The river was a bit constricting but over all, I enjoyed the game.

Does this make me one of the Die Hards??

Lol, thanks for putting up the links G-Man! The show has actually been done since Monday, but we have both been so busy it took a couple days to get it posted (hence the lack of show notes). Hoping to get back to our regular schedule as real life permits.

…although Oblivion might have its own plans for me…

I would have to say that I agree with Gonger and Thom, Farcry is an amazing game. The graphics are some of the best I have seen in a FPS. Each level is different enough that it doesn’t become overly repetitious, as per many other games. There are indoor and outdoor missions, each in different environments and situations, which require careful planning. As Thom had said, you can choose to run in with guns blaring; else you can do my favorite strategy: snipe their asses from afar. My only complaint with the game is the story is mediocre, and the acting is lame - but show me a game that doesn’t have those aspects. I just finished going through the game for my third time, and am still not sick of it.

Thom, do you know where I can get a nice, used, red DS? Preferably one with a pixel already out (or stuck on blue as Tony says lol) ;o)
