We’re going to try to help him get everything set up so he can join us next week along with Thom’s wife Mary for some choice Harry Potter conversationage.

I wanted to prove that I wasn’t dreaming about the BIOS ads thing I mention on the show:

Great show guys. To many things in there that wind my cork to tight though.
I hate ads but like Tony, I understand them from the sites I visit. I, on the other hand do not want my bios chip to load an AOL icon on my desktop everytime I boot up. I hate any program that arbitraily installs/starts/does anything without my consent on MY computer………
Censureship…. sux. I dont want the government involved in what I do. Unfortunatly… to my GD people are to lazy to deal with thier children and look to someone else to do it for them. It is the parents responsibility to raise, teach, and protect thier children…. not the government. No computer should be in a childs room. It should be out where you can at least check to see what they are doing. It’s thier job. Dont want to do it? Dont have kids! Maybe, the parents should have to suffer the fate they allow thiers kids to endure…. you left your kid go out late at night without supervision and they were picked up, raped, murdered, sold….. maybe it should be your punishment also. It is your responsibility as a parent after all.
The RIAA can F’n byte me…. that is all I will say on that.
You still have not convince me to buy a DS yet. The last console I bought was the PS2 and that was only because it would also use the PS1 games. Large selection of cheap titles available. I am a zelda fan and still dont own A gamecube. My main platform is the PC. I dont even watch TV much. I spend almost all my free time playing/surfing/reading with my PC.
OK… rant over…. 2 weeks of overnights have made me cra…. well … I’m always cranky…. guess it made me allow the crankiness to run amok a bit. Aint ya glad this isnt a call in show

Hehe thanks for weighing in G-Man. Whether you agree with us or not, one of the things we really want to do with all this is to provoke some thought on the topics we bring up. I pretty much agree with your rant, but even if I didn’t, its always great to hear what our listeners have to say.
