I have a 50" Sony Grand Wega, and I have the same complaint about the video inputs! I hate it when I bump the wrong button, then need to cycle all the way through again! ARRRG!

I have several other gripes about the TV as well, but I was, for the most part, an early adopter, so I expect some of that. When I move out (which will hopefully be soon) I am planning on buying a plasma or LCoS for my living room, and then keep my Wega as a bedroom TV (which is how I am using it now).

Tony,

This was great...I have the same Sony Grand Wega but the 55" and I did a lot of research before I dropped a tax return on it, I especially looked into LCOS. I am very glad I did go with the LCD projection in the end - The best choice for gamers!

I have one gripe about my Sony, it's the video inputs. I have to cycle through each video input manually, rather than a menu option and a nice dropdown box or something using the remote...not sure if I am missing something in that manual. :)

This is exactly what you need to know before buying an HDTV!
