Syndication Blues
We had some trouble with our feed this evening. Im not entirely sure how long it was down for — it was brought to my attention by a listener (thanks James!). At this point we think its fixed, but I just thought I would post for those of you that noticed we were missing to let you know what was going on. Not that I feel compelled to write long posts about every little issue we encounter, but when I have people writing to me about it, I feel more inclined to give an explanation. Anyway, its fixed (apparently we had an issue with a permalink and our feed ate its own tail); if you notice anything acting goofy again, make sure to drop a line to either myself or Thom so we can poke it with a sharp stick until it decides to play with us again.

To get slightly more specific, I changed the site over to using pretty perma links the other day, so that instead of going to
http://uncompressed.org/?p=19
the link is now
http://uncompressed.org/2005/12/15/firefox-for-complete-idiots-and-tony/
Of course the unintended downside of this is that it borked our RSS, which Feedburner relies on to work correctly.

I dont know why Tony had to write a full paragraph…. I would have just said…. IT WAS THOM’S FAULT!!!!!!!
